Givenchy launched the modern interpretation of this classic in collaboration with perfumer François Demachy. The new Eau de Givenchy is a citrus scent with floral and musk undetones. Top notes are Petitgrain, Bergamot, Lemon, Orange and Mandarin Orange; middle notes are Neroli, Orange Blossom, Green Notes, Hedione and Bitter Almond; base notes are White Musk, Vetiver and Cedar. The idea behind Eau de Givenchy is to capture the scent of summer throughout the year and to evoke the nature of this season. François Demachy created this unisex perfume inspired by the gardens of Hubert's Clos Fiorentine mansion in the south of France, in the town of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. The fragrance comes in a simple glass bottle that reflects purity in a light green shade with a white plug.
